City Councilman Charles Barron’s position on Israel was apparently misstated in a previous column here. Barron says he favors a two-state solution between the Palestinians and Israelis, and supports the right for Israel to exist.

The National Museum of American Jewish History, in the heart of the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, stands directly across from the Liberty Bell, a block south of the National Constitution Center and one block north of the birthplace of American liberty, Independence Hall. I recently toured the museum hoping to find local connections.
