From the website:  The school strives to impart to the young people of our community a love of Judaism, while educating them in Jewish literacy and cultural heritage. The school teaches and encourages mitzvot and religious observances in the home and promotes tzedekah by means of classroom collections and active community projects such as visiting the elderly.

The children participate in prayer services as well as academic subject matter. An arts-and-crafts program or a music or dance program is led by teachers trained in these fields.

From the synagogue website:  Congregation Anshe Emeth offers religious instruction for children ages five through thirteen. Beginning with the youngest children, students are introduced to the Hebrew alphabet, biblical figures, holidays and customs.

Arts and crafts are an integral part of religious school instruction. Also, because of the large geographic area from which the school draws its students, the children generally do not attend public school together. Therefore, the students are encouraged to socialize and meet one another on an informal basis during the available break time in lessons. There is a game room which is an ideal setting for this kind of interaction.

From the website: Through positive, engaging, dynamic and comprehensive approach, we have the future of our people personifying our rich traditions, language, and culture. We hire teachers that emulate a passion for our faith, culture, language, and history and welcome new families and children with open arms. We think about how we would want to learn if we were children in our school and then we make it as close to that as possible! We have interfaith families, same-sex couple families, grandparents who bring their children to religious school, and everything else under the sun.
