Al Jurczynski, Mayor of Schenectady, 1996 – 2003

Mayor Al was at the helm of the Electric City for eight years as a Republican in a city dominated by Democrats. Al tells us how he survived and the accomplishments he had during his tenure including attracting an influx of immigrants from Guyana and Queens (NYC) Guyanese to Schenectady. Al also takes us through his post-mayoral life the past 13 years including working as a car salesman, corrections officer and realtor.
